Waiting for the wind

Llynnjon Mill in Llanddeusant, Anglesey is the only working mill on the island. Originally built in 1775, a restoration was completed in 1986. It has been producing flour since.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

One of the most iconic structures in the world has graced Sydney Harbour since 1932. Taken here just after sunset, the bridge carries rail, vehicular, pedestrian and cycle traffic.

Unseen Thailand - Hua Hin Beach, Trang Province, Thailand

Hua Hin is a rather large popular beach resort south of Bangkok on the Gulf of Thailand. It is popular with tourists and especially with Thais from Bangkok. It is also famous as a retreat for the Thai Royal Family. There is however, another Hua Hin which is virtually unknown and is the name of a beach on the Andaman coast in Trang province. Trang is a much less visited area of Thailand and the chances are you will have the beach to yourself although it has to be said that the beach is not of the same quality as many Thai beaches that are famous for coconut palms , white sand and clear,blue waters. Nevertheless it is an interesting place to visit as the scenery is spectacular.

The photo above is taken on a small island named Koh Rok Yai in the Andaman sea of the coast of Trang province in Thailand. The island is unspoilt and we were the only people to visit the island that day in a traditional Thai "long tailed" boat.
