Hua Lamphong Railway Station, Bangkok

Hua Lamphong railway station is the main railway station in Bangkok and is operated by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). ALthough it is known as Hua Lamphong it's official name is Bangkok Railway Station or Sathani Rotfai Krung Thep. The station took 6 years to build in Neo- Renaissance style and was opened in 1916. The 114 platforms operate trains to the north, north east, east and south of Thailand. The station is also connected to the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) system which has its own station with the same name - Hua Lamphong.
