Yangon's Circular Railway
The circular railway in Yangon, Myanmars former capital city, is a 39 station loop system that runs for 45,9 kilometers around the suburbs of the city. The railway, originally built by the British, is a very cheap form of transport mainly used by locals. The complete trip lasts about 3 hours and is a great way to experience daily life around Rangoon.
The following photos were all taken during a trip around the loop and are available for purchase at ALAMY. Enter "Myanmar train" as the search string. Alternatively, contact me directly at kevinhellon@gmail.com.
